Surfing in Bournemouth
Bournemouth is home to Europe's first artificial Surf Reef, located off Boscombe Pier, just a short distance east of Bournemouth Pier.
The Artifical Reef at Bournemouth is known as Weigh's Reef in the Surfing community and completion is due in December 2008.
Bournemouth and Boscombe in Dorset go hand in hand with the sun, sea, sand and the surf.
